| Les persuades a none too keen Toyah to
join the family on a touring holiday to North Wales in Charlie
West's camper van. |
After a breakdown Toyah and Les end up
pushing the van to a nearby caravan park. |
Toyah's enthusiasm for the holiday soon
picks up when she spots site worker Owen. |
Unbeknown to the Battersbys the site where they have
broken down is the exact same site the Platts, Sally Webster and their
kids are
holidaying at. |
| Owen offers to look at the camper van's
engine for Les. |
Unfortunately Owen can't fix the
problem... |
...much to Toyah's delight! |
| Owen's father, the camp site owner, offers the Battersbys
a static caravan for the week at a reasonable rate which Les offsets by
offering to become the camp's entertainer. |
| Toyah spots Owen fixing a
nearby caravan and asks him if he'd like to walk along the cliffs with
her. Unfortunately he is too busy but Toyah says she'll see him in the
bar later. |
Toyah heads for the beach with the
Platts instead and makes a friend of Sarah Lou. |
In the bar that evening Owen takes a shine to Janice
whilst not paying much attention to Toyah. |
| After some attempted match
making by Janice, Owen reluctantly agrees to Toyah's request for a dance
whilst Les the DJ plays Careless Whisper on the camp's disco equipment. |
| Owen continues to give Toyah the brush
off. |
Les disturbs Toyah's
studying to help him promote his next disco evening. |
| Toyah makes eyes at Owen
but doesn't get much response. |
Later she almost catches Janice and
Owen kissing in their carvan. |
| Les's DJ rehearsals cause much
embarrassment. |
Les excels himself by
throwing Janice into the camp swimming as a practical joke. |
| More embarrassment as Les blasts out
Status Quo. |
Unfortunately for Les he has connected
his microphone badly causing him to be electrocuted. |
Martin saves Les with the kiss of life.
Meanwhile, Janice who was with Owen at the time, rushes to his side. |
| Owen calls at the caravan to see if Les
is OK. |
Les starts on about making a
compensation claim but Toyah and Janice remind him of his last claim. |
Toyah laments that Owen isn't
interested in her because of Les. |
| On the last day of the holiday Toyah is
relieved that Owen has finally come around to say goodbye not realising
it was Janice he'd come to see. |
Toyah puckers up for a goodbye kiss
that isn't forthcoming. |
As they drive away Toyah explains
Owen's behavior as being a bit shy and hopes they can keep in touch. |
